Reporting to the Credit Manager, the Credit Representative will be based in Richmond, BC.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Credit Representative to join our procurement team. The ideal candidate will assist in preparing EFT lists, collections for different branches, reconciling accounts and processing credit reports among other assigned tasks. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

 What You Will Do:

  • Collections for assigned Branches.
  • Obtain Equifax Business reports for new or updating account files for Canada & USA
  • Obtain D&B Business reports for new accounts or for larger Credit Limit increases.
  • Obtain Insurance reports for New & existing accounts over $50k
  • Process credit applications/scan into Credit cloud, notify sales rep & Manager of new account.
  • Reconciling accounts, preparing tax & freight adjustments for customers.
  • Releasing sales orders on the Credit Hold for all locations
  • Detail all direct/EFT deposits(daily) with account /Branch #, Account # & Invoices paid)
  • Prepare the EFT list (coding all EFTS for the day) for Holiday relief only
  • Processing occasional credit card payments and emailing customer receipts.
  • Code & scan daily Cheque deposits (when present in office only /relief)
  • Scan all account documents that are required in file/Credit cloud
  • Miscellaneous requests: email invoices, statements, sales orders, packing slips as required by customers or sales reps.
  • Email daily Credit notes to customers for assigned branches
  • Other tasks according to the approved procedures and work instructions
  • Sundry duties as required by management. (Training new employees)

 What Will You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is a plus
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Credit Representative or in a similar role
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook or similar tools
  • Previous experience in collection
  • ns, deduction handling, issue resolution and negotiation is preferred
  • Keen attention to detail and strong sense of urgency when required
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic work environment
  • Ability to communicate in a clear, knowledgeable and positive manner
