What’s the difference between battery cable & welding cable?

• Battery Cable is the OEM standard. Our battery cable meets or exceeds standards established

by the Society of Automotive Engineers, (SAE). Battery cable, insulated with PVC, is flame

retardant & resistant to fuel, oil acid & salt.

• A welding cable is made with very fine copper wire and insulated with synthetic rubber. It’s

more flexible than battery cable, especially in the cold temperatures. Welding cable is easier

to route in tight spaces.
