Type USEB90 is approved for underground services and feeders in residential and commercial applications, including farm distribution systems, oil pumping jacks, irrigation systems, etc. Type USEB90 is preferred to USEI in some provinces. Instead of twisting the aluminum conductors together, they are laid parallel then surrounded by a copper concentric neutral and an overall PVC jacket. Contact your local electrical inspection authority before deciding whether to use USEI or USEB. |
